Steve Davis, a native of Campbellsville, Kentucky, has lived in the Berea area for the last 25 years. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Campbellsville University, is an Enrolled Agent licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, is a member of the National Society of Accountants, and is an Accredited Tax Advisor and an Accredited Tax Preparer through the American Council for Accountancy and Taxation. Steve has 36 years of experience in accounting and tax. His father, also an accountant, introduced it to him as a child. Steve previously owned Steve Davis Accounting in Berea, and for the seven years prior to partnering in Davis & Hylton Accounting & Tax Service, PLLC, he worked as a Church Financial Administrator.  Steve and his family reside in Mount Vernon, Kentucky.

Kandi (Hamm) Hylton, a native of Rockcastle County, has lived in Berea for the last 17 years. She holds a BBA in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University and is a member of the National Society of Accountants. She has 16 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, and was formerly an employee of Steve Davis Accounting. For the five years prior to partnering in Davis & Hylton Accounting & Tax Service, PLLC, she was the accountant and office manager for a local architectural firm, and is also a QuickBooks Pro Advisor.



Our Office Manager, Hillary (Davis) Shepherd, lives in Berea and is Steve’s daughter.  Hillary recently graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BBA in General Business.  Prior to working at Davis & Hylton Accounting & Tax Service, PLLC, Hillary worked for both US Bank and Peoples Bank.
